Your Mandate
We’re looking for a User Researcher to join a network of experts who are passionate about social good and want the opportunity to have impact in their work. As we’re awarded projects, you will have an opportunity to join an agile team to facilitate discovery, information gathering, data analysis, and the generation of insights. This role is crucial, especially due to the nature of our work, to capture qualitative and quantitative information and translate it into business value.
Your Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of ensuring that our team conducts in-depth requirements gathering and produces evidence-based technical solutions.
1. Manage and conduct user research for a variety of technology projects to build impactful products for our clients.
2. Construct hypotheses and identify best user research methods to conduct requirements gathering.
3. Analyze and present insights to enhance the team’s understanding of our users.
4. Work with developers to translate user research into requirements that feed into prototype development.
5. Lead clients, users, and other stakeholders through the discovery process.
6. Work closely with agile teams to identify user research topics.
Your Background
· Experience presenting findings to team members, clients, and/or senior leaders
· Experience working on teams with technical and scientific expertise
· Experience with usability testing would be a bonus!
· Desire to create impact through digital transformation
· Strategic thinker who takes initiative and can form hypotheses
· Passion for evidence-based decision making
· Comfort in using qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights
· Passion for facilitation and creative research techniques
· Empathy and strong communication skills
